The Belong Network was created from Laura’s desire for something she herself wanted—a space to be seen, heard, connect and supported in life’s journey. The Belong Network exists to foster a strong sense of connection to self and others, through individual and group coaching. Women are invited to unhide and unburden themselves to transform their lives for greater purpose, satisfaction, and significance

YOUR FIRST SESSION
Curious what a coaching session is like? Here’s what you can expect.

The first few minutes of a session is about building rapport on how our days are going, how each of us are doing and taking time to breathe and relax into the session. We’ll tune out distractions and focus on what you came to coaching for. I want you to experience a comfortable and supportive space.

We’ll get clear on an ‘in session’ goal, explore why it is important, what becomes possible when you achieve it, and how we can measure progress. (This is a piece of your overarching goal of why you came to coaching to be ‘accomplished’ within the session.) This goal guides our exploration for impactful results, shaping your actions steps for ongoing progress beyond each session.

I’ll ask questions... a lot of them! They’ll promote perspective shifts, what-if statements, reframing, while exploring identity, values, skills & knowledge, past and present behavior with future aspirations, how you relate to different things like ‘change’, ‘emotions’ etc., plus how you define different things like ‘peace’, ‘responsibility’, and ‘satisfaction’. It’s amazing what comes up when questions are asked and time is given to access awareness.

Nearing the end of our session we’ll step back and leverage insights into next steps, generate ideas on how you can keep momentum & support yourself in between sessions, and overall your thoughts and feelings about the session.
